The holidays are all about spreading love, kindness and giving a helping hand (something we should remember to do year-round). No wonder it's called the season of giving. Well, that and of course all the gift giving.

There's no excuse to living green! It's better for the environment and often for your wallet as well.

Take water bottles for example. It's much cheaper (and healthier) to use a reusable water bottle and water filtration system than it is to buy cases of water each week.

But buying reusable is just one part of living green.

Activism is important. But it's not for everyone.

At least not the protest, shout at the top of your lungs kind. That takes guts.

So what do you do when you have a cause that you're passionate about and want to help out with, but are shy and would prefer to do something more low-key?
