The dual-density PU sole is molded and fused directly onto the upper in one piece, creating a completely sealed base that keeps water out. A PFC/PFA-free Sympatex® membrane sealed inside takes that protection up to the lace line, so rain, puddles, slush and wet ground are no problem. A deep-lugged tread gives solid grip on wet sidewalks and cobbles, yet the sole stays light and flexible underfoot, more like a sneaker than a traditional boot. The uppers are onMicro® waterproof microfiber, a breathable, PFC-free vegan leather that keeps water out while letting your feet breathe. Because it's fully synthetic, it won't rot, crack or spoil the way natural leather can when it's soaked and dried over and over, and road salt won't mark or stain it. A quick wipe with warm soapy water and they're clean again, which makes it an ideal material for boots that see a lot of weather. Inside, breathable onSteam® linings wick moisture away and resist odor, and thick, removable cushioned insoles absorb shock and keep you comfortable all day. Recycled polyester laces with metal tips finish the look. The design is clean and refined: a classic cap toe, neat double-stitched quarters and a sleek ankle-height profile, with a heel pull tab for easy on and off. They look just as good with tailored pants and a long wool coat as they do with cropped jeans, or a midi skirt and tights.
